Strong tempo from the outset as a number of them push forward, with Neerah, Virginia Beach and Global Thunder leading the charge. VIRGINIA BEACH (3) showed some signs of a form return last time. She will be at peak fitness and Chad Little may be able to get the best out of her. GLOBAL THUNDER (2) has good recent form lines with the cheekpieces fitted. She showed good speed over 1200m last time before getting caught late. She merits healthy respect. FAITHFUL NEO (4) showed a good turn of foot when winning her last start over this distance on the Classic course. She is clearly in a good space and must be included in exotic bets. JUST THE TWO OF US (1) is better than her last start run would suggest and returns from a 15-week spell. She has won twice and finished second once from as many starts on this course. Has solid each-way claims.
