Strong tempo from the outset as a number of them push forward, with Kiichi Autumn, Sonic and Aoi Merci leading the charge. SONIC (6) is close to breaking through with three placings from three runs this campaign, last time out finishing third over 1400m at this track. Useful type who gets his chance. AOI MERCI (5) tackled a dirt track for the first time last start and got the job done for new trainer Hiroyuki Yamaguchi, scoring by a neck over 1400m at this track. Strong each-way chance. LAKI ALEXANDER (1) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but was not as effective last time out when seventh over 1700m at this track. Finds a suitable race and can return to winning ways. KIICHI AUTUMN (2) raced on the speed when resuming last start and battled on well but found one better over 1700m at this track. Wataru Hirose who has scored on him five times retains the mount. Don't underestimate.
