VELARE (3) just missed out on the placings at the same course and distance last time when a 2-length fourth over 1500m. Has the ability and looks one of the major players. SAYONO FIELD (10) is having his first run since February 8. Goes well when fresh with two wins and two placings from seven starts. Capable of playing a major role. MIND YOUR MIMOSA (14) improved sharply on her sixth two starts back with success over 2000m at Urawa three-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 2 lengths. Likely to be there at the finish again. POD LEO (11) ran a better race last start but found a couple better over 1000m at Funabashi. No surprise to see him in the frame.
