Strong tempo assured with Buffalo Bill, Red Orchid Rising and Zambezi Sunset rolling to the front. CASINO KING (2) hails from the visiting Justin Snaith stable. He was disappointing in his last start over 1200m at Kenilworth but his penultimate run when fourth over this distance caught the eye. Muzi Yeni rides and in this field, he can shed his maiden tag. BUFFALO BILL (1) produced a promising debut effort over 1200m on this course last start when finishing third. The manner in which he finished off his race that day was encouraging. The drop to 1000m is a slight concern, but with the natural improvement that is expected, he should go close. SOMBREUIL (9) showed good improvement when second over this course and distance last time. She raced on the pace but found one too good on the day. She is a progressive type and she should give the males a decent run for their money. ZAMBEZI SUNSET (4) finished midfield at his only start at this track, looks an each-way chance.
