Tricky one to map with a number of debutants but over this trip there is good speed anticipated. Tricky with some top stables presenting promising 2YOs. MARETH (15) has been within range both starts and didn't enjoy the deep track at Mornington last time. She's sure to keep improving and is a decent chance. HAGGLE (2) debuts and his lead-ups have been positive. He has the advantage of an inside gate and that will afford him every chance. PARISH PRIEST (4) was expected to win on debut beaten 2L. As recommended by his hoop the tongue tie goes on and he can be sharper today. Has an awkward barrier but he deserves another chance. MAHRAJAN (11) debuts for the Hayes boys and has impressed at the jumpouts. The barrier is cruel but expect a bold effort regardless. SINGLE CHOICE (5) jumped out well and was beaten a nose here on debut. An outside barrier makes this a tougher task. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Mareth.
