KAI MONDO (4) was far too good on the heavy surface at this track last time out when favourite, and shapes as a serious commodity again today. ASK ME MATE (3) won well last time and looks right on the money third-up. Must be considered. ASTRA STAR (1) has been kept fresh for five weeks coming into this off a neat win at Townsville last time, and boasts strong claims. ELECTRIC BRAE (8) needs to find a few lengths on the top pick but can do just that which puts her in the mix. LONHY'S FABRE (5) was only 0.6 len off Astra Star five weeks ago and shouldn't be overlooked. SUGGESTED PLAY: Let's throw 4,3, and 1 into a boxed quinella.
