Expecting a solid pace primarily from Russian Mint. Another tricky race to bring things to a close. DEVIL DEVIL (6) won last time at this track on rain-affected going and finds a similar assignment today. No reason to jump off. UNIVERSAL HARMONY (10) was only just nosed out of it last time at Mackay and should be in this when the whips are cracking once again. CUMIN SPINNER (14) did enough resuming to suggest she could be winning today second-up. DAIMYO (1) carried a big weight to victory at Mackay last time and is going well enough to give this one a shake. CANNY BE BETTER (5) ran second to Daimyo at the latest, only beaten a head, and could turn the tables here which would put him right into contention. SUGGESTED PLAY: Let's finish off with a boxed trifecta, throwing in 6,10,14,1 and 5.
