Strong tempo with European Summer, Crowned Hornbill and Bethel leading the charge. CROWNED HORNBILL (2) followed up his maiden win with a good victory over this distance at Kenilworth last start. It must be noted that the horse that finished second has come out and won since. He is having his first run from the Cliffie Miller stable and if settled into his new surroundings can bring up the hat-trick. SWISS WALT (9) was touched off in his last start over 1300m on the polytrack. It must be noted that the winner of that race has come out and won again since. Sean Veale may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him when it matters most. RAVILIOUS (12) moved up well over this course and distance last time but was outrun late. If repeating that effort, he should be figuring in the finish. CAPTAIN TIK TOK (8) improved sharply on his ninth two starts back at this track with a win over 1200m at this track last start. Well placed and he can go back-to-back.
