A solid tempo on the cards with Tapo taking charge. Scratchings hit the last hard. POWERBOUND (1) presents third up from a good draw. The fresh win in BM62 grade was dominant before an even effort at Bendigo last time. Comes back in grade here hence the hefty impost but he's largely been better than this grade. SWEATBAND (11) broke through for a maiden win at Ballarat Synthetic last time and did it nicely there by 2.25 lengths. He'd handled heavy ground here prior and is a chance for the double. FRIENDZONED (15) should be ready to go third up and will be hard to hold out. SUB GAUGE (3) is off a dominant win at Bairnsdale last time out, he looks to have come back better and is a strong chance for the double. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Trifecta 1,11,15,3.
