Strong tempo from Fred's Memory, Secret Statement and The Torque Factor. WILDSPITZE (4) fourth-up for this and the cross-over nose band goes on. Just over seven weeks between runs when up in class for a tiring tenth over 1400m at the Gold Coast. Back in grade and trip and set to make sharp improvement. MINOR KEY (6) found some form last start with a slashing run from back in the field for a gritty second at the Sunshine Coast over 1200m. Will be tough to hold out again with the strong early tempo. ENHANCE (1) rewarded for his consistency when he savaged the line for a narrow win over 1205m at this track. Apprentice hops aboard and has a good record here. Top-three contender. THE TORQUE FACTOR (3) resumes after he failed to come up in his only run last prep. Has a host of gear changes and placed in a recent 1050m trial at Deagon. Well drawn and must be kept safe. SUGGESTED PLAY: Wildspitze and Minor Key have genuine winning claims.
