Solid tempo with Into The Light, Shinzen Akagi and Shark Ring going hard, closely attended by Gold Schmidt. INTO THE LIGHT (1) was well in the market on debut last time out and ran well but found one better over 1400m at this track. Open to sharp improvement and can get off the mark this time. SHARK RING (4) led all the way to score on debut over 1200m at this track three-and-a-half weeks ago. Has plenty of upside and should go on with it. SHINZEN AKAGI (3) was well fancied on debut last start and was not far off the mark, finishing second and beaten 1.5 lengths over 1200m at this track. Improver with a solid top-three chance. GOLD SCHMIDT (2) showed good speed and fought on for third over 1200m at this track on debut last start. Among the top-three contenders.
