Drifted back further than anticipated and covered plenty of ground in the run when seventh over 1200m at Gold Coast. Assess on the good second first-up. Go close. COSMIC FUN (8) is mixing her form and comes back in trip third-up. Sat on the speed and didn't find much when pressured in the straight with a fading ninth over 1410m at this track. Placed first-up and finds an easier contest here. MACAU PRINCE (2) has failed to stretch out in all three career runs on rain-affected going. Back in trip third-up with a tiring eighth over 1262m at Taree on a heavy (10) track. Drops in weight and can make amends here.
