Consistent performer last prep whose most recent appearance resulted in a third over 1400m at this track. Expected to bring the good form from last campaign to this contest. TOP DIA (4) turned in a much better effort last start when beaten only one length into second at this track over 1600m. Should be poised just off the lead. Will give a great sight. CALTHA PALUSTRIS (9) disappointed last start when out of the placings over 1600m at this track, beaten 7 lengths. Won't find this as tough so he is perfectly placed to make amends. JUSTIN LONG (11) is a 10-start maiden who finished fifth, beaten 8 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 2400m at this track. Bold showing expected with added fitness this time.
