Raging Monkey is expected to lead at a keen tempo. GINA'S A STAR (2) came home strongly last start to finish third, beaten 1.3 lengths, over 1100m at Bendigo, having won her maiden dominantly prior at Ballarat. Still improving and looks hard to beat up on speed for the 3kg claimer. LACK OF RESTRAINT (4) resumes. She's off a decent spell but has trialled well and could be one to keep an eye on from an ideal draw. PER IVY (1) was better third up at Sale when getting into third at big odds. A repeat of that sees her right in the finish, she should take some holding out. RAGING MONKEY (7) doesn't win many but will be whacking away on speed from out wide. SUGGESTED PLAY: Gina's A Star to win.
