Plenty of pace from the outset with Bucket List and Sorrenti leading the charge. SORRENTI (3) was gelded over the break after showing ability in his first campaign. Wasn't pushed out in the two trials and expected to shed his Maiden status quickly this time in. I AM STEFFI (7) made an excellent return when she pushed forward from a wide draw to fail narrowly when second over 1006m at this track in a Super Maiden. Gets the claim again and doesn't have to improve much to take this out. DON'T DOUBT SOPHIE (5) her two career starts have been full of merit and looking for this trip now. Strong through the line when third over 860m at Gatton. Maps well and stays in the calculations. Worth including. POISED TYCOON (2) resumes. Had mixed fortunes last campaign and kicks off in an easier race. Fitted with the one trial over 1000m at the Gold Coast. No shock to see him in the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sorrenti can have the last laugh.
