Clench, Kojak and Trust In The Rock can settle forward in a race lacking a designated leader. KOJAK (1) came home well from fifth of 11 into the turn to finish second of 11 over 2200m at Sunshine Coast last start as the favourite. He has placed in all of his last three runs and dropping back 250m in distance looks well placed to record his maiden win. TRUST IN THE ROCK (2) did well at long odds to finish a close-up fourth of 12 over 1700m at this track last start after he was checked with 150m to run. He jumps from the inside gate and racing over 250m more in distance will be well supported to take this race out. CLENCH (3) ran a better race last start to finish a close third of 11 over 2200m at Sunshine Coast after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Having his first start at this track and looks well placed to figure in the finish. SHIP HAPPENS (7) drops back in trip and the blinkers come off. Can improve on recent plain performances. VEGA SICILIA (9) is not out of contention with the light weight. SUGGESTED PLAY: Kojak to win.
