Looking to emulate his win at this track when returning from a spell last prep. Has a strong first-up record, scoring on three occasions from five runs. Should be hard to stop. ZINFIN DOLL (5) had been in sparkling form winning two races on end but missed the frame most recently when fourth over 1400m at this track. Tatsuya Watanabe who has three wins when partnering stays on. Can atone. BACKPACK (6) showed good early speed then led into the straight last start before fighting on to finish third over 1400m at this track. One of the main contenders. HIRONO RAFALE (1) ran below expectations last start, finishing fifth at this track over 1580m. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
