The pace looks very strong with plenty of speed engaged. CAROLINE ISLAND (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1000m at this track, beaten 5 lengths into fourth. Overdue for a win. First try beyond 1200m but rates highly on best and deserves another chance. MISS NOVAX (2) has been about the mark of late including last start when third over 1450m at this track. Great chance to take this out. LOVABLE (7) finished tenth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1000m at this track, beaten 3 lengths. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. QUIET WINTER (8) finished 6 lengths from the winner in tenth last time out over 1400m at Turffontein Standside on March 7. Should be poised just off the lead. Don't underestimate.
