There should be a bit of pressure with Oakfield Peewee and Villa Castina pressing forward in advance of Talana and Off The Scale. VILLA CASTINA (7) nice filly with her hoof on the till third-up. Warmed up late with a tidy third over 1600m at Gosford. Has the class to build on that encouraging effort and looks set for a good campaign. OFF THE SCALE (4) placed in Highway class last time in and should be at her top for this fourth-up. Jumped in trip with a battling eighth over 1890m at Newcastle. Improver here with the 3kg claim. Go close. SANTATIME (1) kept fresh for this. Total forgive from the outside gate with a battling last over 1400m at Scone in the Northern Wild Card on March 20. Goes well on his home track and no shock to see him take this out. SMOKE ON THE WATER (5) has drifted back in all four runs this prep and the blinkers and cross-over nose band come off for this.
