Race 11 1400m Track: |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Solid tempo set by Cardamom Roll and Groovin. MAKE SENSE (4) is racing well this preparation, including a last start win over 1200m at Funabashi to bring up three wins and two placings from five runs in the campaign. Masashige Honda who has scored on him four times retains the mount. Can do it again. CARDAMOM ROLL (5) was a dominant winner last time at Kawasaki over the same distance. Has been in super form this campaign, finishing in the money at each of her three starts. Bold showing expected. AUFGUSS (1) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by 5 lengths over 1500m at Kawasaki. In form and get the inside draw again. ALA MO (3) saluted at the first run back from a spell last start over 1200m at Funabashi, scoring by one length. Has been given a let-up of five-and-a-half weeks since that outing. Won at his only second-up appearance so may measure up again.
