Artie's Magic to take up the running with Varazze and Coolriver Fergie close at hand. VARAZZE (10) finally gave a glimpse of what she's capable of with a game on-pace second over 1400m at this track. Well placed again and expected to go close with Smyth's 3kg claim. MOONLIGHT DIVA (8) knocked up late from the lengthy spell to finish seventh over 1420m at Grafton. Had to do a stack of work last start and gets a much better set-up for this. Likely improver. ARTIE'S MAGIC (13) consistent gelding who doesn't have to improve much to win this. Sat on the strong tempo with a fighting third over 1280m at Muswellbrook. Likely to come out positive from the wide gate and sure to be thereabouts. FOXY PRAGUE (4) was a month between runs when he made a little ground late to secure fifth over 1250m at this track. Fitter now and looks the value play in the race. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 10,8,13,4.
