Yuuki has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. YUUKI (8) ran a great race on resumption at Bendigo despite going under at $1.85, showing speed but just being outgunned late to be beaten under a length. That was a much stronger maiden than she faces here and with natural improvement she should be taking care of them. SCOOBARTIE (5) resumes. He showed ability in four runs last time in, just finding one better before a spell. He can improve this time around. HOPES 'N' DREAMS (2) is a first-starter by Brave Smash out of Bold Eos who has won a trial for the Payne yard. Expect him to be ready to go. RHINEGLOW (7)was just fair on debut at Tatura but has been given time and could be an improver. SUGGESTED PLAY: Yuuki to win.
