GOING: S(5)

ALLBIDS BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1200m

Track: SOFT 5   Clear (Max: 21)   Rail: True.

Pace genuine with Zoucat and Spirited King pressing hard closely followed by Our Lady Rockstar and Eternal Ember. ROYAL MEMORY (4) deserved her 2-length win over this journey at Goulburn, 10 days ago. He'd had no luck here prior when heavily bet. Can position forward and is well-placed to win again. YOU WISH (2) tackled Open grade in Canberra, and it wasn't a bad effort, beaten by less than 3L. She'd taken out a 58 this grade/trip at Nowra prior and has been kept on the fresh side. Has the inside barrier and is a live chance. ZOUCAT (6) resumes and when last seen led winning her Maiden easily over 1200m at the Sapphire Coast. She's improved since her switch from the Maher barn in Victoria, and the speedy mare will give plenty of cheek if presented forward. ETERNAL EMBER (3) resumed in a CL2 at the Sapphire Coast and needed the outing. Placed there at her only second-up outing, and she can improve sharply with the blinkers applied for the first time. Will use the low gate and has to be considered. SUGGESTED PLAY: Royal Memory to win.
