Looks set to go close again. DIOS DEL MAR (7) led throughout last start to score an effortless 9 lengths win over 1300m at this track. Winning rider Yuri Takahashi sticks. Expecting a bold showing. MIYAGI PHOENIX (8) was prominent at the bend and finished second last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 9 lengths. Yet to miss the placings in two starts over this course and distance. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. SASUKE ALLO (5) could only manage to finish sixth, beaten 20 lengths, at her latest appearance over 1400m at this track after she was well back on straightening. Looks to be in the right race to figure in the finish.
