Genuine pace with Flashlight, Earl Of Gloucester and Prince Pinot leading the way. FLASHLIGHT (1) goes on top. He's a fairly consistent stayer who got the job done when last seen here in a BM56, sent out favourite under the 62.5kg but coming on well from midfield to score narrowly. This is a slightly tougher affair but barely and he maps for every chance to make it a double. EARL OF GLOUCESTER (3) was dominant breaking his maiden at Ararat by six lengths last time out. Didn't beat much there but he can go on with it. PRINCE PINOT (2) has won two in a row over shorter trips this time in. Doubt the longer trip here pulls hi up, go close again. DONEGAL SOUL (7) was just behind Flashlight when they met here last time and has claims off that while GIFT OF ORATORY (6) can land in a good spot and stick on for a minor placing. SUGGESTED PLAY: Flashlight to win.
