ROYALE JACKET (1) made progress last start to finish second over 1700m at this track after being in contention on the turn. Long time maiden but has placed four of last five runs. Overdue and will take catching again. POMPEII SHIELD (3) had been racing consistently, finishing in the money three races on end, until finishing fourth as favourite last time out over 1700m at this track. Was in traffic last time but well off best. Capable of a better run. Overdue and gets chance to atone. ASIAH'S TIARA (6) made progress last time out, finishing 2.5 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1800m at Turffontein Inside. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. TWELFTH OF NEVER (4) filled a minor placing when fresh from a spell two starts ago. Could not back that up last time when 11 lengths away in fifth over 1800m at Turffontein Inside. Fitter so don't underestimate.
