Plenty of pace from the outset with Hinna and Vulture Star leading the charge. VULTURE STAR (10) did a great job to score by one length over this course and distance last time out to continue his outstanding recent form. Steps up a level but he is up to the task. SWEET LOTUS (2) got the cash over 1600m at this track at her most recent appearance on January 16. Has found the right race. THALBERG (8) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 5.5 lengths when fifth over 1600m at this track three weeks ago after being in contention on the bend. Must raise the bar but he has the talent to test this line-up. HAKUAI SOLEIL (9) finished fifth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1600m at this track, beaten half a length. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well.
