Solid pace with Autumn Blonde finding the front but it won't be a picnic with a few other speedy types engaged. Tricky contest with plenty of chances. ME ME (7) no match for Matcha Latte two back in the Provincial Mid Champs, then stuck on well to finish seventh over 1400m at Kembla Grange in the Provincial Mid Champs. Beautifully placed here with the claim and winkers going on. Can overcome the awkward gate. THE NEW SINATRA (6) plagued by bad gates at his last two starts and expected to go close today. Snagged back from the outside draw and returned slick closing splits with a sound sixth over 1100m at this track. Hard fit for this and looks to have genuine each-way claims. AUTUMN BLONDE (4) improving filly who looks to have strengthened over the break with her eye-catching fourth over 1100m at this track. Tommy Berry sticks and sure to be thereabouts with the good second-up record. CONVERGENT (1) worked hard throughout at his first run back with a gritty third over 1300m here behind the classy Il Passero. Comes to hand quickly and gets a better set-up here.
