RACING240 GRADUATION PLATE 1400m Track: GOOD Rain (Max: 24) |

Strong tempo with Golden Operator, Echo Check and King Harald leading the way. GOLDEN OPERATOR (2) won here over a similar trip last time and building a good record. Has upside and no reason he cannot salute again. KING HARALD (1) proved too strong two runs ago at Turffontein Inside. Safely held last time out when fourth over 1700m at this track, beaten 7 lengths. Expecting a better run this time. WILD INTENT (3) was well held in the Grade 1 Summer Cup won by Mocha Blend over 2000m at Turffontein Standside at his last appearance four-and-a-half months ago. Marco V'rensburg who has scored on him two times retains the mount. Resuming in far weaker grade and has to be included. ECHO CHECK (4) was safely held when resuming last start over 1200m at this track, finishing 13th and beaten 14 lengths. Should be prominent from the outset. Not to be discounted.
