Plenty of pace from the outset with Rose Luce and Vert Jardin leading the charge. ROSE LUCE (11) ran well on debut last start to finish second over 1200m at this track in a tougher race. Breaks from a wide draw but he shouldn't be a maiden for long. VERT JARDIN (10) is a three-start maiden who was close to a win before a five months break, finishing off with a minor placing at this track. Has a tricky gate to overcome. Nicely placed and expected to go well. YOAKE (9) is a promising galloper who resumes from a break. Last raced when third over 1200m at this track five months ago which was the only run of that prep. Winning claims on best figures. PRESTO SCEPTER (3) is a nine-start maiden who finished third over 1200m at this track last time out. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is all set to build on that latest effort.
