Looks to be plenty of pace with Just Bolts and Viasain battling for the lead. THINKING OF GERTY (10) has an awkward gate to contend with, but rates well for this is presented on-song. She's raced well in better metro company and has won 3/4 fresh. Won a recent Echuca jumpout, and Coffey is a positive jockey engagement. VIASAIN (7) has been busting to win and was only beaten 2L in a 70 at Caulfield last time. Led and missed a whisker this grade at Pakenham prior and he can use the inside gate to advantage. The in-form Meech sticks with TENNESSEE SONG (9), who resumes owning a win at the Camperdown jump-outs. Has shown plenty in her short career, going back-to-back at the provincials before spelling off a solid effort at Sandown-Hillside. Will be naturally improved and has gate speed. JUST BOLTS (5) races forward and brings a string of narrow defeats. Meech is off, but winning rider Nugent goes back on. Is on a 9-day return, and he deserves another chance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Thinking Of Gerty each-way.
