El Arish has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. DRAMATIC MISS (8) was a narrow winner by a nose 3 starts back, and he 2 starts since then have been in tougher company than this at Ellerslie. She tries a mile for the first time, and will also welcome Matt Cartwright back to the saddle. Her winning chances will soar on a wet track. OPPENHEIMER (6) tried ever so hard to peg back the leader at Tauranga 6 days ago, but has to settle for a nose defeat. He has the right draw to take this field all the way. PEERLESS (1) followed up his good win on a heavy track at Matamata with a narrowly beaten fourth at Ellerslie nearly 2 weeks ago. As long as the track is wet, he is more than capable of taking this out. LA PRIMA DAMA (13) set the pace and won fresh at Trentham. This is tougher, but go again. Each way. SUGGESTED PLAY: Oppenheimer at each way value in a very even field.
