SOUTHERN SKY (13) deep into the campaign and going better than her recent form suggests. Battled in the heavy (9) conditions with a close-up fifth over 1600m at Kembla Grange in BM64 class. Can race a little closer in a contest devoid of speed and sure to be thereabouts. ANTILOCAPRA (11) is poorly drawn again after failing to run on with a battling seventh over 1450m at Muswellbrook. Home track suits and racing like she will relish the extra ground. ZUCCHERO (9) returns from a 48-day let-up and best form is at this track. Chipped away late from the sticky gate with a plugging tenth over 1500m at Rosehill in Highway grade. Since fitted with a 1000m trial at this course. Look for him launching late. PINOT NERO (10) up sharply in distance with a plugging fourth over 2000m at Taree. Fitter now and deserves another chance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Southern Sky each-way.
