Only a small field with Luigi The Brave likely to find a comfortable lead. LUIGI THE BRAVE (4) looks the one to beat. He's had a few chances but is knocking on the door, on the quick backup here from Yarra Valley on Sunday where he stuck on well for third. Out to 2520m here should be fine and the opposition looks very limited. SO VOGUE (5) was okay in a bunched finish at Kyneton last time out and looks ready to step up in trip now fourth up. He can track the speed and challenge. SIVA TAU (8) was well beaten first up but had shown some staying promise last time in and could be a quick improver. THE LONG MOVER (9) put in the best run of his career at Pakenham out to this trip last time and is worth consideration despite a let-up between runs. SUGGESTED PLAY: Luigi The Brave to win.
