GOING: G(4)

IPSWICH PARTY HIRE Class 2 Handicap 1100m

Track: Good 4   Rain (Max: 30)   Rail: True. (Pent: 5.30)

Good pace headed by Dolly Disco, Le Chocolat and Big Demeanor, with Acapulco Girl and Brave Horatius close by. ACAPULCO GIRL (5) resumes for the sharp Vandyke stable and Ben Thomson's engagement suggests she's on song. Has two trials under the saddle and she flies fresh. The promising mare is building a tidy record, and she can add to that today. LE CHOCOLAT (2) is also in good hands and can build on his first-up win here in a CL1. Had switched from the Waller yard and jumped a $2.70 favourite. Strips fitter and can keep improving. BRAVE HORATIUS (9) faced the starter for the second time and spiked his form winning a Toowoomba Maiden. Maps for a soft run and won't have to improve much to get into the money. SO BRIGHT (6) will be fitter and may prove the best of the others. SUGGESTED PLAY: Acapulco Girl to win.
