Hot tempo expected from Charmrose and Perfect Dividends. HAVE A CRACK (4) is a very progressive and only lightly tried 5YO gelding who was a fair fifth when resuming at Matamata nearly 3 weeks ago off the back of a trial win at Avondale 11 days before that. He will be spot on with his fitness, and he should go close to taking this out. CHARMROSE (1) has been racing well since winning a brace in the spring, and with her racing well spaced, she has maintained her condition. She has the pole position, and with Opie Bosson back in the saddle, she can have a say in the finish. Each way. PERFECT DIVIDENDS (3) has been mixing his form, and could be looking for some wetter ground. His last couple of starts have been on anti-clockwise tracks, and all of his wins have been in this direction. Don't risk him at good odds. THE PERFECT ONE (7) won his first 2 starts this prep, and his 2 runs since then have not been too bad, including his last start close-up fifth at Matamata. Include. ESPADAS (8) will find this far easier than his last start. Each way. SUGGESTED PLAY: Perfect Dividends and Espadas are both worth each-way tickets.
