Only a small field with Ikasara likely to find a comfortable lead. JUNGLE LAW (4) was outgraded at Eagle Farm but bounced back, leading and winning a CL5 at the Gold Coast. Draws low today and has a handy 1.5kg claim. She can go on with the job. IKASARA (2) resumes and has switched from the Waterhouse-Bott Melbourne yard. Has likely had issues but has raced well at Group level and Ben Thompson's engagement suggests he's pleasing. Runs along and the betting will tell plenty. HEARTS ARE BETTER (1) resumed in tougher at Doomben and will be better for it. Has pieces of form that stack right up and the 2kg claim benefits. Has been kept on the fresh side, and the betting will be key with her as well. Ditto BEAUTY RISING (5), who switched from an Adelaide yard, but found Doomben a stretch too far first-up. She's capable of using the inside gate and has the blinkers applied for the first time. Proven second up and is good enough. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sticking with Jungle Law.
