Cracking tempo with Command Approved and Richon leading the way. SLIPPIN' JIMMY (4) has had two runs back in city grade and is ready to show more like his best. Switches back 300m and Ben Thompson is a key jockey engagement replacing the 3kg apprentice. He's in good hands and will take beating. TROIKA (7) resumed this track/trip at this level and looked a run short. He has more up his sleeve and he's won twice second-up. Has been kept on the fresh side and maps to give every chance. LUBRICATION (1) has raced at Group and Listed level his last three and is much better placed in this company. Comes back to 1100m off a freshen and the 2kg claim offsets some of the extra weight. Has to be kept well onside. MASTER SHOWMAN (2) tries hard and loves racing here. The 2kg claim is handy, and he can get into the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Slippin' Jimmy appeals.
