Genuine pace headed by Toa Rhodanthe who should kick up along the paint. TOA RHODANTHE (1) scored two runs back then was well in commission last time but could only manage to finish seventh over 800m at this track after she was prominent at the bend. Can bounce back. SASAKIN POPPY (7) was in the firing line all the way and fought on for second last start over 900m at Kawasaki, making it two minor placings in a row. Meets a stronger field but she is up to the task. M T STAGE (6) resumes from a spell of five months and is having her first outing under new trainer Yutaka Kawashima. Finished seventh at Monbetsu over 1000m at the opening run last time in work. Solid top-three hope. MEGU (12) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing sixth at this track over 1500m. Likely improver who should be competitive.
