GOING: S(5)

Go Racing Good Friday @ Ladbrokes Racing Centre Maiden 1200m

Track: Soft 5   Clouds (Max: 21)   Rail: +4m Entire. (Pent: 4.68)

Genuine tempo from Dubai Affair leading California Flyer. CALIFORNIA FLYER (6) has switched from a Victorian stable on a 16-day return. Was beaten 1.4L at Caulfield Heath when last seen and will have taken improvement from that. The speedy galloper can use the inside barrier and should have these covered. DUBAI AFFAIR (7) was heavily bet to win at Hobart, resuming off a long spell, but folded up after racing handy. She's been desperately unlucky not to have broken through and a top hoop sticks aboard. Sharp improvement is likely. UNFILTERED (5) was lining up for just the second time, beaten 1.5 lengths this track/trip. Did a good job placing prior here on debut and has a handy 2kg claim. He'll be in the money. MCVEIGH (4) was a big Longford trial winner but got too far back on debut. Has been freshened and a much better effort is likely. SUGGESTED PLAY: California Flyer to win.
