CHILLY CHARLIE (1) is going well having finished around the money of late, beaten a length at Swan Hill last time out. He's got good early speed and draws to effect here for the 3kg claimer who sets up for a fairly straightforward ride. Takes beating. ESKIMO (2) struggled in a stronger race at Geelong last time out when in the market but had been good prior at Wodonga and a repeat of that goes close. IL CIELO (3) is coming off a solid maiden win at Wangaratta as favourite at his 11th time of asking. Drawn nicely here and finds a suitable race to go on with the job.
