Off the low draw the speedy Nails And Pride should lead at a genuine tempo. CALVARY (3) could cap off a good day for the Matt Dunn yard. He was heavily bet winning a Maiden first-up in a heavy track and then raced in stronger at Ipswich and had a slow recovery. He has an awkward gate but has been kept on the fresh side and is a decent chance to bounce. MEAT PIE ARTIE (1) switched yards and was okay as the short-priced favourite first-up. He's raced well in stronger than this and is proven second-up. A chance with average luck from the wide barrier. FRACTIONAL (7) led and ran a good figure winning a Rockhampton Maiden and then faded late at Yeppoon. Gets in light with the 2kg claim and has the early speed to clear the awkward gate. Has changed barns and expect him to give a sight. SAXON SLAYER (4) has trialled since the solid first-up run. He has plenty up the sleeve and fitter should be around the mark. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Calvary.
