Keen battle for the lead between Maketara Akan, Stars Week and Gregg in advance of Hakuai Dream and Cosmo Vered. STARS WEEK (6) did a great job to score by 2.5 lengths over today's course and distance last start in a much improved run. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. SKY OJI (4) was ridden quietly from a good draw last start before closing nicely to get up for fifth over 1500m at Kawasaki. Will drift back but will be getting home hard. GREGG (11) was an impressive winner last time over 1500m at this track, leading throughout and putting 3 lengths on his rivals. Should figure in the finish. LEO BONHEUR (9) finished third last start over 1500m at this track. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is right in contention.
