Genuine tempo with Red Weiss leading the way. BISMARCK (7) has switched yards since finishing third four weeks ago over 1200m at Monbetsu. Plenty to like about his prospects. KING OF KAZU (4) lines up for the first time since May 30. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1600m at this track. Rates highly and is likely to be prominent. RED WEISS (11) raced on the speed last start and battled on well but found one better over 1600m at Kawasaki. Is in solid form this time in work, scoring two times and placing on two occasions from eight starts. Has to be respected. GIRARDET (5) finished second last start at the first run back from a spell over 1600m at this track, beaten a neck. Will benefit from that outing. Likely improver with top-three claims again.
