Plenty of early pressure from Ackerman, Palenque and Governability battling for the lead over Oriental Mac. ACKERMAN (5) turned in a modest performance when fourth last start over 1600m at this track after being in the firing line on the bend. That followed a good first-up win at this track. Won't find this as tough so he is a leading player. GOVERNABILITY (9) boxed on to finish second last start over 1600m at this track, beaten a neck. Will enjoy a drop in class so he can play a big role. PUMP IT (7) could only manage fourth two runs back then improved last start when he did his best work late but found a couple better over 1600m at Kawasaki. Meets some better types this time but he has the talent to test this line-up. PALENQUE (4) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 1500m at this track. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well.
