Genuine tempo with the speedy Whomsonever leading the way. Tricky. WHOMSONEVER (10) led and ran her best race winning a Gold Coast Poly Maiden by 4.4L over 1540m. Margins can be exaggerated there but it was a good effort and stretching out in distance shouldn't bother. A heavy track would be a query but trust the yard if she stays in. ZEPHYRZ ZOOM (11) spiked her figures when beaten 1.5L at Ipswich over 1666m on a heavy track. That's good form and she should see out the extra metres. VENOM WOLF (4) missed a nose at Coffs Harbour and was outgraded at Doomben following. They were both over a mile on slow surfaces. Looks in need of the middle distance and is a chance to bounce. MADALSA (5) got a lot closer at Kilcoy and has pieces of form that would see her competitive. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Whomsonever.
