Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Double Diamonds. IRISH GIFT (2) resumed much improved before a narrow defeat here on a soft track. Fitter again and is ready to break through. ODETTE'S ORCHIDS (11) was plain here last time but went close first-up prior on a heavy track. Just has to run out the longer sprint to threaten. DIAMONDSAREMIO (8) did a good job missing 2L at Kempsey. Peaks and a 1.5kg claimer goes aboard. She's a chance. COOL MACHINE (7) was good at Grafton off a longish break. She has plenty up her sleeve and also deserves consideration. SUGGESTED PLAY: With Irish Gift.
