Plenty of pace from the outset with Cold One and Wonforwazza leading the charge. COLD ONE (1) led and spiked his figures again winning a CL3 at the Gold Coast on a slow track. The small claim offsets the weight lift back in grade. He runs along and can make the hat-trick. WONDERLAND STAR (11) is another decent chance for the Matt Dunn yard. She's raced at Listed level and is a third-up winner. Has a wide gate but McGuren sticks and that's a positive. WALSH BAY (12) placed at the Gold Coast in a return to form. Peaks and has won on the heavy. Cahill stays aboard and that offsets to a degree the awkward barrier. FIVE RINGS (3) is knocking on the door and will find this easier than Doomben. He should be around the mark. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sticking with Cold One.
