Plenty of pace from the outset with Kriegerin and Pampapato leading the charge. JONAGOLD (6) turned in a fine effort to win by a neck at today's course and distance last time out to build on a solid first-up result. Going up a level this time but she can win again. COPANO STANLY (4) is back at the races for the first time since July 20. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 1000m at this track. Has found the right race. ARME MATE (3) fought on for third last start over 1200m at this track when he came from a long way back on straightening, making it three minor placings in a row. Has a strong finish. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. DREAD (8) resumes from a spell of four months. Could only manage to finish 11th at the latest run over 1200m at Sapporo. Commenced last prep with a minor placing at Niigata over 1200m. Has ability and is worth including.
