Expecting a very strong tempo with lots of early pressure, predominantly from Buffalo Storm Cody, Ryans Boulevard and Bloomington. BUFFALO STORM CODY (1) is a lightly raced colt with good form lines to his credit. He stayed on well at the finish over 1100m last time, but found one too good on the day. He should enjoy the rise to 1400m and having placed in all three last runs can notch up his second-career victory. COUNT INVICTO (5) is unbeaten from two starts to date. He quickened up well and drew clear of the opposition to win his last start over 1200m when well supported. He should have no issues with the rise to 1400m and can remain unbeaten. CONFEDERATE (6) finished second of eight as the hot favourite last start over 1450m at this track. Racing in top form and should be fighting out the finish. PRESSONREGARDLESS (8) set the pace over 1450m on the Turffontein Inside course last time, but was outrun late to finish second, He has won once and finished second once from as many starts over this could and distance. He is likely to race on the speed once again and may be hard to peg back.
